Welcome to the Summer 2021 Games of Texas!
Corpus Christi was selected to host the Summer Games during 2021 and 2022. 
During July 29–August 1, 2021, Corpus Christi will host the Texas Amateur Athletic Federation (TAAF) 2021 Summer Games of Texas. Amateur, recreational, and young Olympic hopeful athletes will compete in 13 sports featured at various venues throughout the city in this multi-sport arena. The games are estimated to attract over 10,000 athletes! We invite athletes to get in the games and compete for the top spot against their peers to seize the dream!

Important Notice:
City and TAAF Announce Plans for COVID-19 Safety Measures
in Hosting the Summer Games of Texas
COVID-19 protocols for the summer Games of Texas 2021: Safety measures throughout the sporting events will include encouraging athletes to limit their guests to two attendees during their respective competition. Also, the TAAF Executive Committee is directing its athletes when not actively competing, officials, and spectators to wear face coverings during the sporting events. In addition, frequent hand sanitizing and social distancing will be promoted. (Read the full news release here)
MEDIA PASSES: All media is invited to cover Games of Texas prior to, during and after the event. Media credentials are required for access to any and all venues, including opening ceremonies. To request credentials, please complete the Request for Media Credentials Form. Requests must be received by Tuesday, July 27, 2021. Send scanned completed form to santosv@cctexas.com

ADVANCEMENT OPPORTUNITIES: The T.A.A.F. Summer Games 2021–2022 medal winners will advance to the 2022 State Games of America which will be held July 27–31, 2022. For more information, go to https://www.stategamesofamerica.com/.
ABOUT THE GAMES: This is part of a series of amateur Olympic-style events organized by the Texas Amateur Athletic Federation (TAAF) for athletes of all ages held in Texas during the summer and winter each year. Medalists from these games qualify to participate in the State Games of America. These games are part of the National Congress of State Games.
