• Certifications

The Texas Amateur Athletic Federation offers certification programs for coaches, parents and officials.  All programs are geared towards youth sports and were created by its members.

The goal of the coaches and parent's certification programs are to:
 

  • Restore balance to the teaching situation that youth sports offers
  • Eliminate violence, negative talking and taunting on the sidelines
  • Improve communication between coaches, officials, parents and children
  • Return to the fun and learning inherent in youth sports.

The officials certification program certifies and trains officials on TAAF specific rules for Basketball, Flag Football, and Softball.
