• T.A.A.F. Athlete of the Year Program

The TAAF Athlete of the Year Award was established in 1996 to honor the outstanding male and female athletes statewide for their participation in the Texas Amateur Athletic Federation. The program was established with the following criteria:

1. Each T.A.A.F. Membership (Member City or Affiliate) may select one male and one female Local Athlete of the Year which are submitted to the T.A.A.F. State Office.
2. All local athletes, by region, are submitted to the Region Selection Committee for selection of the Region Male or Region Female Athlete of the Year for a particular region. Click to view Region Athletes
3. Region athletes selected are then submitted to the state selection committee for consideration and selection of the T.A.A.F. State Male or Female Athlete of the Year.
